Goldbergs was established in the early 1930's by the late Arthur Goldberg, who was previously Lord Mayor of Plymouth and President of the local Law Society.
Originally the Firm's offices were located in the centre of Plymouth but they were damaged during the war. The Firm then relocated to Ford Park Road in Mutley, Plymouth in the 1940's. Goldbergs' principal offices have remained there ever since, but the Firm has also expanded into offices at two other Plymouth locations.
Although the Firm has traditionally been known as a litigation practice, Goldbergs now has specialist Family, Personal Injury and Civil Litigation solicitors serving both a local and a national client base. The Firm undertakes both privately funded work and legal aid work and often takes cases on a 'no win, no fee' basis.
The Firm is committed to providing access to justice for all.
